Photos: Iga Swiatek reveals how her time in Madrid went

Swiatek shared a photo dump of her time in Madrid.

Iga Swiatek said she enjoyed a very memorable time in the Spanish capital despite falling just short of winning the Madrid Open. Swiatek, who was seeded at No 1, made the Madrid final before suffering a 6-3 3-6 6-3 loss to Aryna Sabalenka.

Even though it was certainly disappointing for Swiatek not to leave Madrid with the title, the Pole still enjoyed two good weeks in Madrid as she was able to do several interesting activities that made her happy. “Another one in the books.

It’s been a great challenge and privilege to play in Madrid. A lot of good days at the office, amazing food, coffee and new memories – that will stay with me. See you in Rome!” Swiatek tweeted.
