**WASHINGTON —** The Republican-led House Oversight Committee is preparing to move forward with a contempt of Congress resolution against former President **Bill Clinton** after he did not appear for a scheduled deposition connected to the committee’s ongoing **Jeffrey Epstein** investigation. James Comer (R-Ky.)** and other committee Republicans have grown increasingly frustrated after months of trying to secure testimony from Clinton and former Secretary of State **Hillary Clinton**. Both were subpoenaed last year for closed-door depositions as part of a broader effort to examine the network of associates surrounding Epstein, the convicted sex offender who died in 2019.
