Last weekend, two NFL players hit the Gulf of Mexico instead of the football field.
Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce visited Port Aransas on Friday, May 14, catching lots of red drum fish with Port Aransas Fishermans Wharf.
The fishing service site posted a picture of the two and their crew with a nice line of fish, writing “it’s not every day you get” Mahomes, Kelce and, Josh Abbott (the country singer from the Josh Abbott Band joined them) on board.
Thanks for stopping by,” Port Aransas Fishermans Wharf wrote.
Mahomes isn’t new to Texas, as he grew up in Tyler and later played college football and college baseball at Texas Tech University. Abbott also is familiar with Texas, as his band formed in Lubbock.
