Iga Świątek is resting after a tiring and full of successes and emotions season. During the holidays, the Polish tennis player is still in contact with fans on social media. Now she has decided to summarize a special year for her. “The last few days have been a bit more time to get used to everything that has happened this season,” the post reads.

A very successful season for the 21-year-old, in which she won as many as eight tournaments, including the Grand Slam Roland Gaross and the US Open. On top of that, they went on an incredible 37-match undefeated streak. Now the Polish woman has decided to summarize this spectacular season in a cool way.

The last few days have been a little more time to get used to everything that has happened this season. It is difficult to describe it in one word or even a sentence, but I know it is special and I will never forget it. The results are one thing, but how much I have learned about myself … it’s a completely different story. I know for sure – there are still many challenges, work and learning ahead of me,” Świątek wrote on social media.

Regardless of how quickly it dawned on me (still does) what I achieved this year, I know that I wouldn’t have done it without my team. Thank you Tomek, Dario, Maciej. Thank you to the business team, thank you to my family, sponsors and last but not least, thank you for your support and presence. This year has been a great adventure also thanks to you!” – added the Polish tennis player.

In her thanks, Iga Świątek focused mainly on the staff she works with, sponsors and family members, but she also did not forget about her fans. In 2022, the Polish woman regularly met in the stands of White and Red fans in every corner of the world where she played. Throughout the season, she played 76 duels, of which only nine times she did not come out victorious. In total, the 21-year-old has already won 11 championship titles.
